Bowron Lake Celebrates 50 Years of Recreation and Conservation
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the creation of Bowron Lake as a provincial park. Come celebrate with us as we highlight interpretive talks about the history of conservation at Bowron, a visit from John Bowron himself as well as an 1860's Singing Quartet from Barkerville in period costume. Events planned include a canoe portage race with Jerry the Moose, scavenger hunts for kids, Parks 100 birthday cake and lots of fun and celebration.
